Burwell

At the Burwell meet McKenzie Stefka earned a fourth place finish in poetry, while Shelby Schneider earned a fourth place finish in humorous impromptu, Other students competing in burwell were: Bella Kissell, Abby O'Conner, Hunter Green, Stefka, tristian Oxford, Schneider, Kylie Hansen, and Elizabeth Folkers

Loup City

We had five students competing at the Loup City speech meet. Medal winners were Stefka with a third place finish in pooetry, O'Connor with a sixth place medal in informative, and Green earning a tenth place medal in persuasive. In addition to the medal winners students participated in poetry(Kissell), Impromptu duet(Kissell and O'Connor), Serious prose(Schneider), Persuasive(stefka), Informative(Green), and extemporaneous(Schneider)

State Speech

The Sargent speech team placed Fifth at the state speech meet. Three members of the sargent team competed at state with McKenzie Stefka earning the title of state champion in Poetry and state runner-up in persuasive. Hunter Green earned a fifth place medal in persuasive. Shelby Schneider earned superior ratings with her ex-temporaneous speeches and came in eigths place.
